KateLENHAMKate's daughters, Mary and Jane, her sons-in-law, Julian and Troy and her granddaughters, Zoe and Georgina would like to extend thanks to many people. These include family members who came from near and far; her many caring neighbours; her friends from St. Joseph's RC Church; dear golfing friends from Royal Birkdale Golf Club; her dedicated carers and many friends from years gone by for attending her Requiem Mass, cremation and refreshments at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club. Kate's church, St. Joseph's RC Church in Birkdale, meant so much to her throughout the latter years of her life spent in Birkdale. We would particularly like to thank Father Atli Jonsson for helping us to plan her Requiem Mass. His advice on the reading we chose was invaluable. We would like to thank also Terry Leyden, Anita Arrigone and Brendan Leyden who assisted at the Mass. Many thanks must go to Rolf Jordan and the team at F.J. Gibb Funeral Directors for all the help extended to us at this very sad time. Rolf, particularly went above and beyond in ensuring that everything went smoothly on the day. Thanks to Julie at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club for the wonderful refreshments after the funeral. The final word for our dear mum, Kate, you will never be forgotten by any of us. You were a character, generous of spirit, very caring, competitive and great fun. Sleep well Mamma Kate.
